Unfolding Theatre partnered with #InspiredBy to work with children from Gosforth Group Schools. They used their extensive theatrical writing, performing and production experience to:
“Raise the children and teachers’ confidence in self-expression and public speaking; build emotional resilience & awareness of the positive impact children can make in their local community; inspire children them to speak out for their local environment and take part in arts and cultural opportunities, and raise the children’s confidence, resilience and creativity.”
Unfolding Theatre supported the children to present their work on public speaking to counsellors at Gosforth Civic Chambers.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the project moved online. Unfolding Theatre adapted their delivery to provide remote activities for those at home and in-person workshops for children still attending school.
