Tyler Gatenby works part time as Duty Manager at Live Theatre, welcoming customers and supporting the team with event organisation, hosting and cartering. At the same time as working at Live, she is completing her BA in Performing Arts.
Tyler describes Live Theatre as “a great place not only to work but to visit! We have some comfortable and cosy areas to work free for anyone to book into! The team at Live Theatre are always so helpful and friendly and accommodating.”
For Tyler, the most important advice for young people looking for a role in Newcastle’s creative and cultural sector is: “don’t be afraid of being yourself!” and “get involved with as many activities in the industry as possible.”
